Took my car to @Akron Auto Clinic because it’s making a weird noise. They lifted it up, and when they put it back down, suddenly my whole strut was broken. My wheel was literally sideways, and they told me I couldn’t even drive my car home. Mind you… I DROVE it there. My strut was not completely snapped when I arrived. So I asked how much it would cost to fix, and this man tells me almost $900-$1,000. I said I couldn’t afford that right now, and he tells me there’s a financing program. I asked if it was credit-based, and he said yes. I told him, “If I had good enough credit for that, I’d probably already have a credit card to pay for it.” Then this 🥷🏾 asked me if I was gonna scrap my car. That part irritated me more than anything because why are we jumping from “you need repairs” to “should you junk your car?” after my car somehow comes down off your lift worse than it went up? So I got my car towed home, found the part myself for around $150, and found somebody else to fix it for $100 an hour. They told me it’s maybe a two-hour job MAX. So you mean to tell me I was about to pay $850 in labor??? Updated review because they called me asking what they could do to get me to take

It took them 4 days to get the breaks done on my truck. Very slow, high prices

This family owned business is great to work with. Prices are affordable, they are extremely knowledgeable about cars and will answer any questions you have. They worked on my Lincoln for multiple issues and kept me updated the entire way through. They are busy so timing can be more than one day but they definitely let you know that upfront. I appreciate the work they did and would recommend choosing them over the overpriced mechanics in the area. I plan to continue coming back in the future.

Had my daughter's car in for a broken shock mount. They got it done quick and they were great with my grandbaby while they were there!! She'll be going back for more work.

My car has been in an accident and has a bad subframe. Should cost $4000 to get it fixed right. But they put this on my car when they fixed an upper radiator hose. Didn't even use the old clamps from the old radiator hose. I didn't even have to loosen that clamp at all and it started leaking coolant. So don't trust them to do more technical jobs where there may be a coolant leak under pressure. They didn't even double clamp it. I understand that mechanics get paid badly, but for $100 an hour I'll run to the idea of beating myself up until I fix it right.
